These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, content, and subscription services operated by Dialectics Media and Research Private Ltd (“The Dialectics”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), accessible at thedialectics.org.
By accessing the website, creating an account, or subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may choose not to use the website or its services.
We recommend reading these Terms in full before registering or subscribing.
The Dialectics is a digital publication providing scholar-authored analysis on geopolitics, geoeconomics, history, society and culture, and technopolitics. All content is produced by researchers holding atleast postgraduate academic qualifications in relevant fields.
The Dialectics is operated by Dialectics Media and Research Private Ltd, incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013.

Free accounts are available to any registered user at no charge. Free account holders may access content designated as free and will receive the weekly newsletter upon registration.
Paid subscriber accounts provide full access to all published content, including subscriber-only analysis, explainers, and stories, as well as the complete archive. Paid access is conditional on maintaining an active subscription. Paid subscribers are required to provide their permanent communication address and phone number for the purpose of future communication like sending gifts, vouchers, publications or any such things that are deemed to be appropriate.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that is found to be in breach of these Terms, without prior notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@thedialectics.org.
Paid subscriptions are currently offered on an annual billing cycle
Pricing is displayed inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
The Founding member offer that is applicable for the first one hundred subscribers will be perpetually billed at ₹1500 every year for their lifetime.
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We accept major credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on the applicable billing cycle.
You will receive a payment confirmation by email after a successful payment.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Where pricing changes affect existing subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days’ written notice by email before the new pricing takes effect on your account. Continued use of the subscription after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised pricing.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard under Billing Settings, or by contacting us at support@thedialectics.org. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Upon cancellation, your paid access will remain active until the end of the billing period for which you have already paid. On expiry of that period, your account will automatically revert to a free membership. You will retain access to all free content and continue to receive the weekly newsletter unless you separately unsubscribe from the mailing list.
All subscription payments are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, partial refunds, or credits for unused portions of a subscription period. Cancellation prevents future billing only and does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already charged.
If you believe a charge has been made in error, please contact us at support@thedialectics.org within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate the matter.
You may resubscribe at any time after cancellation. If your subscription has lapsed, you will be required to complete the checkout process again. Your account and reading history will be retained.
All content published on The Dialectics, including articles, analyses, explainers, stories, newsletters, editorial copy, and all associated media, is the intellectual property of Dialectics Media and Research Private Ltd or its contributing authors, as applicable, and is protected under applicable copyright law.
You may read and share links to published content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, copy, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any content on The Dialectics without our prior written permission.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Payment processing is handled by Razorpay and subject to their privacy and data terms.
The Dialectics is operated from India and is primarily intended for readers in India. If you are accessing the website from outside India, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). International subscribers may be subject to currency conversion fees charged by their bank or payment provider. We are not responsible for such additional charges.
Subscription prices displayed on the website are in INR and inclusive of applicable Indian taxes. Tax obligations arising in your country of residence are your own responsibility
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Where changes are material, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the revised Terms take effect. Continued use of the website or subscription service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of The Dialectics shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
